Resource Guide

The Marketing Resources Guide is partitioned into five categories. The ‘Opportunity Identification’ section supports the external analysis and market attractiveness and sizing activities. The ‘value creation’ provides resources that aim at help clarifying the fuzzy front end of value development from a product, service, and business model perspective. The “value delivery” section contains resources on go-to-market strategy and tactics. This section houses channel, promotion, and advertising resources. The “value management” section contains resources for developing competitive strategies and managing marketing performance. It references resources on leveraging and extending brand value. The “surround” section contains miscellanea on marketing, resources that do not fit squarely in any of the other categories or that span multiple categories.

The resources listed include publications, consultancies, market research syndicate data, government data sources, and NGO sources of information. Some of the resources listed are accessible on the web for free, others require subscription or payment to access. Some may also be a blend where some data is offered for free while more advanced information is available at a fee.
